Red one is indeed very nice, will have to follow auction and check what it sells for.

I attended the Atlantic City auction on Friday and saw both these cars. First, the white one was IMHO a disaster, in that it had incorrect engine, wheels, and interior. It was also in fair condition.

The red car, on the other hand, was very nice. I had a chat with the owner, who showed me the restoration photos; it appeared correctly done. The only issue for the purists was a color change from Seafoam green. The owner asked me my opinion of the car's value across the block, and I estimated low 20's. He told me he was hoping for $29k.

My buddy and I watched the red car cross the block, and it hammered sold for either $26k or $26.5k, I cannot recall which. So the value fell right in between my guess and his hope! It looked to me like a good deal for both the buyer and the seller.

Hi Rich and everyone else,
I recently found the Atlantic City website with the auction results, so I have lots more detail about the 2 GT/CS's which sold. I thought this audience would find this of interest:
Car #1, 8R01C156713, white, with 351 Cleveland and non-original interior and wheels, sold for $15,500 (strong money IMHO, and I saw the car).
Car #2, 8R01C150125, red, restored to a 2+ condition, sold for $26,000. Photos of each are attached.
Overall, in spite of watching the auction block and observing many of collector cars not meet their reserve, the market for these Mustangs seems to be strong.
Information came from this website:

Enjoy,
