The green on the taped up lines is the etch primer.

The arm is what was on the car, most likely since about 1972, based on some receipts and date stamps on the bumper arms. Appears to have had a front ender about then and the front left fender, bumper arm and a few other parts had FoMoCo Service tags and or ink stamps from late 72. The left door was a '67, so replaced it with a correct '68.

I can live with it...

More (slow) progress....

Engine bay almost ready to drop in the engine.

Front suspension in place, needs torqueing and a few adjustments.

Front and rear glass in and trims on.

Fuel tank in, need to clean underside before installing new lines (did not repaint underneath, fairly clean original so left the red oxide and some old grubby stuff...)

Next, doors, fenders and hood. Then paint hood stripe, buff and stripes.

Then finish interior, steering, drop in engine and trans.

Still need to pull the rear end and clean/paint it and the rear leafs. Bad sequence, but it just worked out that way...
