Not that it matters. I just think it's neat that David and Joe are both pushing the envelope (and their wallets) while providing some good ole' fashion (and legal) rivalry for all to see.

Specs for me:

Engine:
87-95 5.0 Mexican block. 347 cubic inch displacement. Forged crank, rods, and SRP sportsman forged pistons all balanced with an external balancer. Air Flow Research Aluminum Cylinder heads with upgraded valve springs and titanium retainers. 185cc intake runner volume. 10-10.5:1 compression. Lunati Cam: Intake: .544" lift 232degrees duration at .05" lift, Exhaust: .560" lift 242 degrees duration at .05" lift. 110 degrees lobe seperation. Hydraulic roller lifters. Edlebrock performer rpm aluminum intake manifold with a 1/2" phenolic spacer under a holley 750 carb modified for increased cfm and performance (larger emulsion holes and air bleeds and the airhorn was milled off). MSD pro billet distributor with 6AL box and blaster ignition coil with ford racing 9mil wires. Autolite 3924 spark plugs gapped at .040". March aluminum underdrive pulleys. Hooker Super Competition 1 5/8" long tube headers going into a custom double cross over exhaust into magnaflow mufflers chopping off at the rear axles. 15000 miles on the engine. griffin aluminum radiator and aluminum edlebrock water pump

Transmission:
C4 automatic with deep aluminum pan. B&M Pro Shifter ratchet shifter with line lock switch mounted on it. Continental 10" 3500 rpm stall converter. B&M Supercooler trans cooler.

Suspension:
Ford 9" rear end from a 79 lincoln mark V. Auburn limited slip differential for 31 spline axles. 4.11 ring and pinion gear ratio. Stock leaf springs. Calvert Racing Caltracs traction bars. Rancho RS9000 9 way adjustable rear shocks. Subframe connectors. Carrera 90-10 front shocks with V6 mustang springs with 1/2 coil cut off. I removed the endlinks from the sway bar to free up the front suspension travel.

Wheels and Tires:
Weld Racing 15x3 1/2" aluminum skinnys with 7.50 mickey thompson sportsman tires with custom spacers for the front.
Weld Racing 15x8" 14lbs. aluminum rear rims with Hoosier 26x9.0 slicks screwed to the rims
Baer brakes all around 13" rotors up front

Tuning:
71 primary, 79 secondary jets. 16 degrees initial timing with 20 degrees built in for 36 degrees total timing including vacuum advance. Air fuel ratio 12.8-13.2 across the rpm band.

Dyno Results:

384RWHP @ 6500rpm and 360 lb.-ft. torque

Car weighs approx 3200lbs.

Driver weight is 140lbs.

Best e.t. is currently 11.989 @ 111.79mph on a 1.687 60' time (had skinnys little tailwind)
Best speed is 112.81 on a 12.087 e.t. with a 1.775 60' time (no skinnys had alot of tailwind)

Greg Weld 17 X 9 wheels w/26X11.5X17 MT ET Street bias ply tires (rear)

I don't know how much my car weighs. I'd guess 3600 - 3700 lbs.
Driver weight is 210 lbs of all man, baby.:grin:

mustang gt w/man trans: 3483 lbs this is base model curb weight
w/auto trans:3532 lbs
conv. w/man trans : 3601 lbs
w/auto trans: 3648 lbs

these are base models, i don't know how much variation to the gt/cs


shelby gt500
coupe man trans 3920 lbs
conv man trans 4040 lbs

That's also without the added weight of the blower and intercooler. So if the base model is ~3500 lbs, I'd say my guess of 3600 - 3700 lbs. is pretty good.
