Want to know if this bottom rubber cap that comes with NOS lamps were actually installed originally on GT/CS (as shown on this picture of Marchal lamp with incorrect black housing). They have 2 exit for wires, which are sealed. So to install them with the single wire on our car, it would need to have one hole opened up.
I know that the wire exiting from the lamp stud is sealed in the housing by a rubber plug about 1/4 dia by 1/4 long. But I was just wondering if this extra rubber cap was used.
