Here is a photo of a partial VIN stamped on an engine block, behind the intake manifold and in front of the bellhousing. You should be able to see it if you remove the air cleaner, lean WAY over the fender, and clean the area of grease. Oh, and you'll need a light source.
This VIN won't show the engine size but if the partial engine VIN matches the door VIN, and dash VIN you can get the engine size from either of those 2 tags.
