    2007+ predator diablo tuner

Diablo Tuner I used the tuner that comes with the FR-1 kit. At the time I was replicating the Shelby GT mods, because it preserved the warranty if Ford did the install. I had Senator Ford in Sacramento-bad choice, but that's another tale of woe. That made a considerable difference, but you know...

    2007+ predator diablo tuner

Diablo Tuner worth the $$$? I can't say anything about the Diablo, but I bought an SCT X-3 right after Christmas when the prices got reasonable, and it was worth every cent. I had put on a Ford intake, Steeda elbow, the Ford reflash, Ford headers, X-pipe, mufflers and throttle spacer, and...

2007+ Research Questions for '07-'09 Owners

Shipping methods for 07-09s Paul, I bought my '07 from Folsom Lake Ford in Sacramento, CA. in April of that year. It did not arrive until early June. I was told at the time it was delayed because Ford changed shipping companies, and that it was sent by truck. My window sticker shows shipment...

    1968 Black Hornet

Building a "Green Hornet" Building another "Hornet" sounds like fun, but I would be careful with anything connected to Shelby. "Ol' Shel" is a bit protective of his name or former business, and the lawyers might decend on the project like Democrats on a pay check. On the other hand, Carrol...

2007+ Lower grille and brake ducts.

Shelby Brake Ducts I tried to purchase the Shelby GT-H style ducts, and they have been on "back order" for over 10 months. Now I see they no longer appear in Shelby's catalog, so it is unlikely they will ever be available. Agent 47 makes a nice set of inlets with a matching duct. The inlets...

1968 Looking for my first GT/CS

Plates on first car Finally found a photo of the car, taken just before I sold it (dumb#@*!) WGM987. Is that what you have?

1968 Looking for my first GT/CS

Hi Tim, The headers probably didn't help. One side was not too bad, but it was actually faster to loosen the motor mount and jack up the other side than to fiddle around with trying to get a wrench on the plugs! cheers, David

1968 Looking for my first GT/CS

Mine needed paint, it was starting to burn thru from too much youthfully exuburent polishing, and one fog light lens was broken, so the might have been replaced with amber lens. The car was sold new from Jones Minto Ford in Santa Cruz, not So Cal, but close, so your car might very well be a match.

1968 Looking for my first GT/CS

Thanks for the help! Thanks for the replies, I had about given up hope. I found some photos of the car just before I sold it, the plate was WGM987. It was definately a four speed, but I was incorrect, it was a standard interior, with console and tach, stock except for the holes in the dash...

1968 Looking for my first GT/CS

Hi Folks, I am looking for the first GT/CS (and first car!) I owned. It was black on black, with a 390 and four speed from the factory, manual steering, deluxe interior with console. It had two holes cut in the dash for extra gauges, a Hurst shifter, and Crager mags last time I saw it. I...
