Update to previous post!

What an amazing story!
Short Story:
House is broken into, thieves find keys to his highly modified Bullitt and steal it out of his garage. Members of a local car forum/club (FuelSlut.net) go on the hunt.
Two members find it and box it in. Their cars are rammed. Thieves get away, but car is recovered.

Long Story:
(Recovery story begin on page 15 of thread)

the 2nd link just goes to there forum i think hes kinda dumb to leave keys laying around put the in a lock box or safe .thats the first thing a good theft goes for is car keys newer cars make good money at chop shops. if your gonna leave a car in the garage just unhook the starter wires easy free and most thefts give up if it wont start

Another tactic is pull the rotor out from inside the distributor housing. No theif would suspect that either and they'd wouldn't want to stick around to try to trouble shoot it.

apart from the guys with the flat bed roll away truck.

They don't need keys -

get a DOG , that's why there called mans best friend - because usually they ain't a strangers best friend and create enough noise to deter your professional thieves.
