FYI: Just in case you are unaware of it, today you have access to one of the finest educations at your finger tips... for free...

There are so many very high quality and free classes on-line - especially in maths and sciences - that you could actually cover all the content from basic math/science to graduate-level engineering strictly using on-line classes.

If you have children (grandchildren?) or just want to review your maths/sciences at the high school or undergrad level, Khanacademy is really very good. They are currently using these videos in our local elementary/jr high school system. The kids love it because they can work at their own pace and forge ahead if they want to. And a lot of parents are using Khanacademy as the basis for homeschooling as well...

If you are interested in advanced courses (undergrad and grad) from most of the major universities in the US, you can access these as well...

Even on youtube there are a lot of good classes that professors have put on-line, you just need to do a bit of sleuthing to find them.

The amazing thing today is that anyone - I repeat, anyone - with enough motivation and drive can get a high quality education, especially in the maths and sciences, and the only cost is an internet connection...
