1968 Note to self - Check the shock towers

While doing the cleanup of my engine bay for the disc brake conversion and new suspension I found cracks in my shock towers. This was the good side. I would have missed these two cracks if I wasn't specifically looking for them.

This is the after welding. You can see where the cracking was located.

Here is my starting point. So far I have only rebuilt the door hinges and rehung the doors.

I'm sorta surprised. I've only seen shock tower cracks in big block cars.

been there...done that. We have seen them on 302 cars

During the RHD conversion to my J-Code CS it was found that both shock towers were cracked.
