Looks like an interesting take on the old Spy-vs-Spy theme.

A better commercial

I prefer the '67 Shelby w/the blonde... but I'd take the '07 w/the brunette in a pinch (I know, I know... same gal)

For a different experience try the following Audio/Video quasi-mashup.

Open the commerical in one window. Pause the video. Turn the volume all the way down on the window's volume contol (the little slider at the bottom of the video)...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rCZxMz0gYU

Now open another window with "Mustang Sally" by Wilson Pickett...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=2asrBQSRKYo&search=mustang%20sally%20pickett

Now start the commercial video and put it on full screen. I figure this would make a much better commercial. I should work for Ford Marketing

That's a '68 Shelby. The '67 had round fog lights in the center of the grill. The front end was also different. And the '67s didn't have the same tail light bezels that our CSs have. The lens was solid, not broken up by the bezel.

Saw my first actual new Shelby on the road yesterday. Wow! That car stands out big time. You couldn't help but stop and take notice. And to make it even more mouth watering. Blue with White stripes and the color combo was awesome. It makes a very big statement coming down the road.

Yup, you're right. That was me just not being observant and *assuming* that they would put an '07 against a '67 (40th anniversary) in the commercial.
