Looking to purchase a CS in midwest

Hello, I am interested in purchasing a CS in the midwest, I would like to find a car that is better than a driver quality car. Would like to do local shows and cruises with it, but not looking for 30K best in show piece either. Not real picky on color - I live in the Detroit Mi metro area and will travel 1-2 states in any direction for a nice car.
