There's a very good chance that you don't :). I've seen '65 - '66 Shelby GT350's with that setup under the stock hoods (well, Shelby fiberglass hoods) and they seemed fine... in fact, Mustang Monthly (several months ago) featured an article about a '66 Shelby owner who converted to this setup ... you might want to check it out ;) .
