Figured out how to mount pieces for adding the Deluxe door panel straps:

1.)Holding the door panel in place I marked & drilled the forward mounting screw hole. (9 1/8" from bottom reference)
2.) Temporarily mounted the strap using the forward hole, and positioned the strap with the rear hole the same distance from the bottom reference.
3.) Held the reinforcement metal in place with the strap and drilled 2 holes to mount the reinforcement metal.
4.) The last photo shows the reinforcement piece in place (screwed to inner door skin.
I didn't have any mounting info, so I just reverse engineered.

Looks good Neil!

Is the reinforcement piece part of a kit that comes with the Deluxe door panel straps?

To my knowledge a separate part you can order. Does not come with the kit. I have converted two cars to deluxe interior and had to buy them each time.

Yep. All the pieces are sold separately: Brace, Straps(pair), End clips(set of 4).
