California Special I found in Junk Yard

I was in a junk yard 2 weeks ago and came across this CS Mustang. The front was cut off and no doors are present. I spoke with the yard owner about the serial of the car and was told they did not have that info but when the car was brought in it did have the doors and the front. I smell a fake being made as I am writing this. The car was a 6 cylinder, no air, standard interior, tinted glass. The car looks to have had a light underdash fire. I have attached photos.
Thanks Art in Texas

Cool find - you have eagle eyes! No VIN on the dash? Also, looks like the hood doesnt have hood pin holes? Casey

The hood appears to come from another car as it had been repainted over another color with lots of Bondo sealing in rust. The rest of the car was good and solid. Shame, as it looks like the car could have been saved before cannibalization took place.

Looks like a fake project to Nani too since the taillight panel has been cut out. Notice how the script doesn't line up?

Looks like somebody got the parts they needed. That will be my next project - finding me a parts CS for the rear light panel and trunk deck etc. I'm sure that's not going to be an easy task.
