Auto XP type trans

Folks,

We got our note from Ford telling us about our car. On there it said "Auto XP type Transmission". Is that different from a C4?

For those of you that are curious, I posed same quesition on the classic Mustang forum. The XP type trans is the offical Ford name for C4. At least according to the post on that forum.
