I looked it up. It's $48K plus your car. I don't care. I think that's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. It will take a lottery win to get, but this car moved to the top of my "must buy" list.

It is a really, really cool concept. I'd like to see the 67/68 version, never liked the 69/70Shelby. The nose is too long.

What was the relationship between Shelby and Ford in 1969? Was he providing any feedback on the cars (or just his name)? Didn't they stop making the modifications for Ford in 68? I am surprised he would license these year cars, but I guess anything for a buck.

He didn't like the competition that the Mach 1, Boss and Cobra Jet cars were going to be giving him. And yes, it seems that Shelby is all about the almighty dollar any more.

I had an opportunity to look at the other car from their website at Mustang Week Myrtle Beach last summer. Build quality looked to be very good without any of the "rough edges" one might expect on a project such as this, but I guess there shouldn't be on a 48K package!
