    Best Cal Spec Memory

...now all I need is the car. Another fond memory I have with my CS. Back in 75 as seniors about to graduate in 1976. Back then we purchased our class rings and other class memorbilia a year earlier. It took longer for "Jostens" to process those orders. Instead of ordering the traditional ring...

    In Memory

I wouldn't be surprised that it may very well lead to that, especially the way this judicial system works. They protect the creeps and leave the innocent to the mercy of them. It wouldn't surprise me that her boy friend could be the suspect especially if he has a temper. After reading the thread...

    In Memory

The real sad part is when it comes to homicide, it takes forever to figure out what really happened at the crime scene. It really stinks and we can only do so much. We can speculate all we want, but to get to the real trueth on what happens is rare. I know of a very similiar situation, myself...

May extend our sincerely condolences on the loss of your sister. It's so hard to take such a loss, especially when they're so young. Stacey

    Best Cal Spec Memory

I know this thread is 4 years old since anyone has replied to it. But I figured it'd be fun to put my 2 cents worth in. This was back in 1972, Mom and I were in our CS driving to town. Not really paying any attention. I looked over at the speedometer and notice the needle was creeping up and up...

    2005 Registry Update Thread

On the average about a quarter of the vehicles built are the survivors. So if there were only 4200 of the CSs built you've probably looking at slightly over a thousand of the vehicles still in existence while the rest are extinct. Unless the CS has been exceptionally a favorite to keep off the...

    2005 Registry Update Thread

Hi Paul Great to see you hang around at this site again. Really missed you. I know getting a hard cover version costs and arm and leg, been there done it. I'm curious now, howmany CS's are in the registry now? Are you self publishing your book or are you having a printer do it? If the...

    1968 Portholes

Hate to bust your bubble but.... Hi Arlie, IMO those port holes just doesn't compliment your beautiful jewel. I wouldn't even think of doing it. I must say it was a wonderful sight for sore eyes that day you pulled into the drive way to visit your mother and father in law. I had lots of fun...

    . wives tales or not?

Moth balls do work I used mothballs in mine and that worked. The only problem is that you have to keep them replenished every so often as they vaporize away and if you don't mind the moth ball smell. It works pretty slick. Stacey

    What Do You Do????

My two cents worth.... I work 3 jobs, not an easy task. Putting my girls through high school and collage. 1st job I work at a wire harness factory my main job, 2nd job part time document detailing, meaning we scan and digitize documents for various companies, county courthouses, etc. and put it...

    What Do You Do????

Cute little ankle biters!!! I got five little weener dogs, but these little guys are about as mellow and funny as they can get. Tucker the senior of the pack (black and short haired) skippy, the oldest son (black and long haired) Einstein the smart and quiet one (dapple long haired) he never...

Delay in Getting New Window Decals Out...

Decals Paul, Got my decals the other day. THANKS!! I'm wondering if you're going to have the definite cut-off date on submissions to your book and sticking to it. I noticed that folks here who have made the purchases quite awhile bark are losing their patience. I know it's nice to get every...

    2005 Registry Update Thread

My Fellow and Lady Mustangers, Sounds to me that it may be a desperate part on Paul's behalf, (no offense okay?") to get more orders in to get the book published. It's NOT CHEAP to self publish a book, I've done it myself years ago when I wrote a science fiction book and published it back in...

Do you have more invested in your GT/CS than its market value?

investment value Hello, If you LOVE your car, it shouldn't matter, if you're not out to make a profit. It's no different than paying an arm and a leg to save your favorite pet, simply because you love it. Stacey

Should I charge $$ to join the GT/CS Registry?

supplement book Hi Paul, Yup! A supplement book is in dire need after you get this main book published. No ifs, ands, nor buts about that. Stacey

    The Great Aemoo28 GT/CS Adventure!!

Your CS needs alots of TLC Sounds to me that poor thing's been neglected all those years. So you're going to have to nurse it back to health! Good Luck! Stacey

Should I charge $$ to join the GT/CS Registry?

I second that motion. I agree with Sven. Even though, I'm strapped for money a lot, but I sure as heck won't throw a hissy-fit over a $25.00 registration fee. When the money's available, I'm more than happy to put in my contribution. Just say the word Paul and I'm more than happy to send you...
