    Scott, I found the numbers you were asking about. the cast # from initial post corrected is C8AM 6015- b ..the other number looks like 2HI9....Thanks

    I picked up a long block 302 on craigslist last week for parts. The casting is C8AM-6012-d. From what I can see its out of a 1968 full size ford, but unclear as to the "M" as reference to performance. thanks Dwayne
