what years were the newer GT/cs 's painted grabber orange?

The way I have done it with 428CJs is mount the DS manifold and put the larger PS manifold in place and set the engine in and bolt it up later it is a slow process but I have done it for years. You will have to take off the tall valve cover to get your hands in there .GOOD LUCK

Bob that does sound like a ignition switch problem,if the temp gauge works on" acc "and not the "on "position. Maybe it has just been a unusually cool spring(up here) and your C/S is trying to tell you to head south. Good luck ! Reg

Port Angeles Any one in the Port Angeles area know a guy named Tom with a yellow 68Shelby GT500KR ,I met him years ago at shows and lost touch.

Package self I painted mine interior color, man it soaked up the paint probably should have used some sort of primer. Not real impressed with the way it turned out.

Grass Valley is a nice place been there a couple of times,a freind of mine (a vette guy)was telling me of a orange 70 Mach 1 he had seen must have been yours. that looks like an impressive stable!!

Hold it! mine has a square base antenna looks to be original .I just bought a new one with square base,anyone else have this ,mine was built 04/30/68.

Steve i have always liked the C/S's because they were something out of the ordinary . I am looking forward to restoring it after I have some fun with it first.

As a new comer to the GT/CS world I can't understand why when a nice GT/CS comes up for sale in the $30,000 dollar range that is looked on as huge money.but looking at the Shelby ,Boss market which is way up !I think the CS's are a deal .Is it because they don't have the racing history of a Boss...
