 MONTHLY SPECIAL
Laurie and I were married on July 24th, 1999, here in Victoria, B.C., and this Candy Apple Red "S" code 390 4v 4 speed GT/CS was borrowed from my best friend Terry Rann and was used as our wedding car. In November of 2007 Terry agreed to sell me the car and it became a Christmas surprise for Laurie. In August of 2008 Terry passed away after battling cancer, and as a tribute we took his ashes for a final ride in the Mustang and then scattered his ashes up on the Malahat Drive at the Lookout.

Last summer we spent several months (and several thousand dollars) in restoration work and now the car is coming close to being finished. We still have a bit more work yet to do this summer, but then these older cars are always a "work in progress" it seems ...

Our Marti report says that this car is one of only 111 built with an "S" code 390 4V and a 4 speed transmission, was one of 6 ordered with the GT equipment group, and is the only one of the 27 Candy Apple Red GT/CS cars to be factory equipped with front seat headrests on the standard black bucket seats. Originally sold in Vancouver at Dominion Vancouver Motors, it has managed to remain in B.C. for all of it's life. With it's special sentimental value it'll remain in our family for many, many years to come!
