1968 Today was a good day-Winner!

Just attended the last show of the season for us, and decided give the gt/cs a break and brought out my 68 "straight 6". Low and behold I actually won best of class for '67/68 years coupe !!! Fellow club member says just goes to show you, you don't always need a V-8 to win! And to top it off I won the raffle for a set of Flowmaster scavenger elite series headers, which will go on the 302ci gt/cs, when I start the resto this winter. What a way to end the season !!!

Have a good winter all and let our off season Restos' begin !

Congrats! What a great day. Your win tells me that there were some good judges at the show that were looking for quality of workmanship, cleanlyness and condition. Not who has the biggest motor or the most chrome. Do you have any pictures? This summer a 67 6cil convertible that I restored for a customer won best of show over a 2008 Roush and a 69 Boss 429. I was stuned as was the owner. Your win should give you some steam to work on the restos this winter. Marty
