I think that they are referring to a HCS. 428CJ engines debuted April 1, 1968.

nope first car was a CS with a 428 then they get back to it further in video

There were a few 68 CJ cars build in Feb and March....very few

I believe the California Special Cobra Jet featured in the video was the first production Cobra Jet built on the San Jose assembly line.

Danny has it correct. Johns old Brittany Blue GT/CS has a scheduled build date of April 18.
Several Dearborn cars way before that
