OK now that I have your attention.....

What do you guys recommend for stripping paint? I need to start with the engine bay/firewall and not sure if I should sandblast or use chem strip of some sort.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks all

I have done a few cars with most available methods.
All have pluses and minuses.

If you go with media blast don't use sand or other material that attracts and traps moisture. You will never get all of it out of the nooks and crannies and you will trap it under the primer and paint.

On small areas I had excellent results with chemical stripper but it is getting harder and harder to find the good stuff.
