Check out the wording in this auction.

"Original 1968 Ford Mustang coupe. Original California black plate car, repainted once many years ago but primarily very original. The car has been sitting for quite some time but would be an excellent candidate for restoration or daily driver with some routine maintenance. 289 engine, original chassis/body, automatic. Newly rebuilt transmission, new alternator and radiator. Runs well, engine in great shape. Roof is cracked and car is missing one rear hubcap. Otherwise, in excellent running condition. A great ride!"

Sounds pretty good, but wait a minute, the roof is cracked??? And the seller seems to think that is no more important than missing a hubcap.
Check out the photos of the rear of the car.

I think Marty's right. Previously a vinyl top car that rusted, and then plastered with Bondo. YIKES!!
