Cool New 'Stang added to my stable ...

Well, with the Ford dealers looking to sell cars at huge savings for customers, I couldn't resist - I now have an '08 GT/CS:

... it sure is a nice set of wheels ... I love it!!! ... ...

Sweeeet!

Just came back from lunch and on the way back I saw a new white Mustang headed toward me and as it went past I noticed the familiar side stripe, CS.

Thanks, everyone ... I'll try to get some better pic's for both of my Cal Specials soon ... maybe after I get the '68 painted and the '08's windows tinted ...

Yes, black with the dove interior is the best color IMO! Slap some dark tint, stealth it up a bit, louvers? I have 12-15% tint on all but the front.

SO glad you now have both! I have the dilemma of 'which one goes with me to the show?'

What kind of oil for the newer mustangs:

I am curious as to fine out what kind of engine oil is being used to feed the beast for the new V8 GT/CS group?

1) what kind of oil do your prefer? synthic or mineral base

2) At what mileage have our new group of GT/CS owners changed their
oil & filter. Do it your self or was it done by the dealer or indepentent shop[?

3) what weight oil does Ford recommend and how often do they say to change it with the filter ?

4) are you brand loyal or it does not make a difference?

5) how many miles do your put on your new generation GT/CS a year.
daily driver/ weekend toy multi Purpose?

6) what kind of driving do you do wiith you GT/CS cruise, sport & drag race Chevys and mopars???

Hope to hear back from our new loyal GT/CS owners.

Thanks again, and it seems to me that there are a few of us here that like black (Amy, Jeff, David, HRG, me, others? - sorry if I'm forgetting your name to mention it here ...),

And especially on a GTCS, whether it's a vintage '68 or late model '07-'09, these cars look SHARP !!! ...
