LEDs are Amazing!

I installed the WCCC Plasma LED tail light bulbs & front turn signal bulbs. I love them! I have the Plasma LED back up bulbs coming from WCCC. Im going to do my first order from superbrightleds to get side marker LEDS

A huge THANK YOU to NEIL. I was having problems getting the old bulbs outs, did a google search, an old thread came up, Neil sharing his secrets! I used a heater hose to get those awful old bulbs out with ease and a little WD40. Thank you Neil, you saved me hours of time and much frustration.

I had posted photos of the plasma LED's showing the brightness of the tail & brake lights. Outstanding.

are these direct replacements. does it cause any issues with the turn signals. I like the brightness but thought I read someplace that they caused issues with turn signals

The LED bulbs come as a direct substitute for the 1157 incandescent bulbs. However, due to the significant lower current draw of the LED's you must also change the Flashing Unit for the Turn Signal & Hazard lights. (The original Flashers depend on the higher current draw of the incandescent bulbs, which in turn heats the Flasher circuit, in effect turning the bulbs OFF & ON.)

Sheryl (Batgirl89) found good replacement flashers @ Summit, P/N 90652, $11.95ea. They appear to be the round canister shape of the original flashers, so they will fit in the original clips.

These are very nice Marker light LEDs and Courtesy/License Plate light LEDs from superbrightleds.com $6.95 each, they have a glass globe over the top.

Nice, and you should never have to replace them again.
