The Road Warrior had Magnaflow mufflers. They are much more civilized than Flowmasters, but they are definitely louder than stock and they droned at a certain rpm.

If you want something even more civilized try Walker Quiet Flow mufflers.

I have Walker Turbo mufflers on a custom dual exhaust with a Walker H-pipe. Love it!

X2 on the Walker three chambers. If memory serves me, they are the Dynomax version.

Tom,
The standard muffler for the '68 Mustang is the transverse muffler. Do you think the Walker person might have been confused?
