1968 Repairing cracked fiberglass rear tail light valence

What materials have you guys used to repair cracks in your taillight panels? The corner of my figerblass piece is missing and two of the tail light mounting holes are busted through.

I'd rather repair the original than get a reproduction :)

Fiberglass cloth, resin, and catalyst.
Its tedious, messy, and hard as a rock when cured.
I try to do the repair on the backside for cosmetic appearance's sake.
And just carefully brush a little resin on the exposed side (to fill the crack).
Then grind & sand to a finished appearance.
NOT one of my favorite jobs.:tongue::sad
