Wanted: a nice, concours '68 AM radio.

I have a friend with a '68 that is looking for a "concours" quality '68 AM radio, with the black pushbuttons, and with the stock (non-console) chrome knobs.

He has a very nice '67 AM radio for trade, or partial trade, depending on the condition of the '68.

thanks--

I wish I could bring myself to part with mine as it is out of the car....but my car was born with it, so I can't do it! I even still have the dash speaker with the paper cover on it and it isn't torn. I'll keep my eyes open for a clean 68 radio when I go to the swap meets.

Paul,
I might be able to help with the radio. For my concourse car I did the following: 1. had a radio tech at work check to ensure it was in working condition. 2. checked all wiring 3. removed cover and cleaned dust and dirt 4. polished face and push buttons.

If this will work for your friend I will be getting a radio in the next week or ten days that I am going to do. I do not have any radio knobs presently. Let me know.

DANNY
