Where should I look to find engine numbers on a 68 Mustang?

Mine are located at the rear of the intake manifold on the block. Mine is a J code 302 windsor. I am not sure if this is the same for other blocks. Hope this helps.

289/302 date and casting numbers are on the side of the block, covered by the starter.
