...At the Cal Expo Center in northern California. Mostly new cars, but classic Mustangs were well represented to include an original '70 BOSS 429. '68 GT-500KR and J-code GT/CS. Renee "PonyGal" met up with TJ & I which made for a fabulous day! We also got the grand tour of the 2010 Stangs...

I've had shots at a couple of Boss 9's, but always just missed them. Now they're way to expensive for me. That CS looks like my twin. I really like the '65 with the gas and pedal cars. Nice display.

...Yes indeed Steve! I'm kicking myself for passing up that Boss 302 two years ago, but it would've been better suited as a trailer/ show car and not something I would want to drive a lot. I've always loved the Bosses! :)

Great pictures! One of the coolest things is pictures of each other now! I have met and talked with you. I can see your faces when you type.

All of this is so much more personal now!! And I love it!!

Looks like you had a great time!! Beautiful cars. I'd drool all over that Boss 429 if I were there.

What did you think of the 2010?

Indeed Tim, it was a wonderful day yesterday at the Sac Intl. Car Show!! So many cars to look at in 13 different buildings at the State Fair grounds. Spending time with you and TJ among all those cars was GREAT!! I believe I fell in love with the 2010 Mustang!!

...Yes, I stood and looked at the 429 (in a daze) for quite a while. TJ kept touching it ;-)

As for the 2010 - I liked it, but in all fairness after sitting in & playing with Camaros, Challengers, Corvettes and 140 mph Nissans - nothing really stood out other than the "Mustang" legacy we honor here. I signed up for a test drive (appt.at a local dealer) which will arrive in the mail... You have to remember however, that my experience is with classics, so any opinion after driving a new one will be very good. New cars in general have a lot of gadgets that I would as soon do without, so I'm probably not the best person to make recommendations...
