...in northern California was attended today by "Ponygal", my wife Frances & I as an extension of our normal weekend drive. Renee met us there w/ her pristine '68 coupe and a relaxing time was had by all! Of interest was this '66 restomod decked out like one of ours, plus alot of other nice Mustangs. The Collings Foundation B-17 and B-24 (WWII bombers) were in town making regular flights from McClellan AFB, adding some nostalgic "alluminum overcast" to the day...

Tim;
Great photo's. I love that rear exit exhaust set-up on the red restomod coupe. That is one sharp looking car.

Great pictures Tim,

It did turn out to be a beautiful evening (especially after the breeze picked up). With the addition of the WWII bombers flying by, it made it even more enjoyable. It was great to see you and Francis! Thanks for driving down.

I too was really impressed with the workmanship on this one Don. I didn't talk w/ the owner, but I heard it had a 347 Stroker/ 4-spd. I have a neighbor here who's making one similar to that, but it's primer colored now. I'll try to get some photos when he gets it painted.

Oh, by the way Renee- here's some ramp shots of those bombers that were flying over all day ;-)

Those are great pictures of the bombers Tim. Makes me wish that I would have taken the time to go down to see them while they were here. Next time I'll make sure to do that. Still, seeing them in the air was fantastic!
