Well,
I now have the carb off and am currently rebuilding it and converting it to electric choke. When I drove the car, I noticed the slop and rattling of the stock shifter. So, since I'm doing all this work, I thought I might as well do the shifter also. I've always been a hurst guy, so I thought I'd give their "Mastershift" 3-speed shifter a try. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'll be keeping the stock stuff, of course.
