Sheryl, if you can manage to snag one for me I would be MOST appreciative!
Stephan, I was only able to get one. sorry.

My local store received 3. I only got it because the store employee broke rules, she went above and beyond for me. She felt I was deserving since I actually own the car and showed them pictures when I went in there 2 weeks ago. The store opened at 2330 hrs last night and rang up orders starting at midnight. I got there at 2330 and there were 30 cars in the parking lot and the store was full of people! People had started lining up at 2100hrs. I had no clue about this whole Hallmark xmas ornament following. I got an education last night.

The other store in the next town over that I had stopped into 2 wks ago and put my name on the list had called me yesterday am, and said I would not get one, so I needed to look elsewhere (they got 6 in) they didn't care that I owned the car, they gave them to their regular customers in the Hallmark ornament club (costs $50./yr to join) I was glad they called so I didn't waste my time going over there.

There is a bunch of them on ebay, its amazing that us who really want them cant get one at our local store and have to pay 2x's for one on fleabay

So glad you got 1 Sheryl, I found the same thing here in Oregon. Our store got 10 and were gone within 15 minutes of opening. Didn't know Hallmark collectors are as bat crazy about collections as California Special owners are.

There is only one Hallmark store left in my area, so I really didn't expect to hear back from them after I called to put my name on the list. I got the call this morning and just arrived back with my own 50th Anniversary GT/CS Keepsake ornament.

After making some calls to various Hallmarks through out the region Monday my wife found a store that still had one in stock. After explaining how despite owning one of the cars my wife could not find one locally the store owner agreed to ship one to my us. The FedEx left an early Christmas present yesterday late in the afternoon. The wife is happy again (for a while)! BTW I didn't realize until my wife opened it that the ornament is metal and has a little wait to it.

Peggy (my top shopper) came up with an extra ornament. If anyone can't get one, let me know.
