One of the greatest things about the car hobby is the people. A great way to meet other “car people” is by joining a local car club. I thought it would be cool to see what “real” (not “online”) clubs are out there that forum members belong to. Do you belong to a local car club? If so:

* Where is the club based?
* Does the club have meetings?
* Do you meet up and go to cruise nights and car shows as a group?
* Does your club run their own cruise nights and car shows?
* Does the club ever get together and go to the track?
* Does the club ever have “project days” where members meet and help another member work on his/her car?
* Does the club do any community service projects or donate to charitable organizations?
* Does the club have a website?
* Does the club have a newsletter?
* How can someone join the club if they’re interested?
* Are there dues?

I’m a member of the First Pennsylvania Mustang Club which is a regional club of the Mustang Club of America. We’re based out of Coopersburg, PA and have monthly meetings (they’re not mandatory). During the summer some club members meet up and go to area cruise nights and shows together. We run cruise nights on the first Friday of every month from April through October at
Przyuski’s Country Drive-In in Ottsville. We are in our 31st year of running our annual car show. This year it’s Sunday, August 19 atSouthern Lehigh Living Memorial Park in Coopersburg. We also have a summer picnic and winter holiday party. Proceeds from our cruise nights and car show are donated to local charities. We have a website: www.1st-pa-mustang.org and a monthly newsletter. If someone is interested in joining the club there are membership forms available at our cruise nights, car show, in the newsletter and also on the website. Annual dues are $20.

I belong to 2 car clubs, one does all of these and even if I am unable to attend meetings or other events, do support both there Cancer events. One needs to check this one out for much interesting information on what they all do, fallscitlymustangclub.com and the other one, not as great to talk of, there is a great need of improvement here, midwestangs.com
you can check them out and see what you think?
