I need to replace the driver door hinges on our 66 conv. I've got them painted & ready to install.

Do I need to remove the front bumper and fender OR can it be done by taping everyting to prevent chips & dings and then remove the bolts from the body first and slide the door away from the car?

THANKS, Dave

CAUTIOUSLY remove the door. Leave the fender in place. You'll want the fender in place to check the gap & clearance, as well as the gap & clearance at the door aft edge. (A TWO person job) Tape the edges @ the fender, door edges, rear quarter edges. Be careful & good luck.
