lucas light covers

Recently on E-bay a pair of lucas light covers sold. My question is: in '68 were these a factory option, a dealer option or aftermarket? Did Marchal have a similiar cover?

There are no covers for the Lucas lights that came factory or optional. The covers you see are made for the lights but where not bought by Ford for the CS or Shelby in 68. However I would buy a pair to protect your lenses. I attached a picture of a correct 68 cover, there are 2 types and these are the earlier ones.
Marchal lights to not have covers.
