Attention HCS Owners (71F-086?)

If you own a '68 HCS, and if you have a copy of the original invoice (or Marti Report), is the DSO listing at the bottom right of your invoice have the numbers "71F-086"?

Or does it have something else? That is--a number that begins with "71"?

We're trying to track down the original So. Cal. dealership(s) that made the deal with the Denver area dealers to produce the HCS cars.

Thanks!

It's interesting that the number 76 appears on the Ford paperwork. As far as I know, 76 was the DSO for Denver--but not until 1972.

Since Bob's cars are in the 160,000 series, they may have assigned Denver DSOs. The early HCS cars may have the So. Calif DSOs, to get the project going in June '68. This is something worth looking into.

Thanks, Paul N.
