Nice. I have been thinking about getting one. How tall does your garage ceiling have to be to use one of these? Casey

Mine is 117 inches floor to ceiling and as you can see, it's right to the top. I did have to have the garage door tracks raised and the spring replaced so keep that in mind. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes, I have heard that you need 9 feet minimum. I only have 8 feet, so I am out of luck. Casey

That thing rocks. My garage needs a floor and and barely has enough room to pull the car in and open the door to get out! By the way, if anyone has nice garage space in NJ for the winter, let me know! My CS has lived in the desert until now and the weather has been...well, a little wet here in the northeast!

I don't have any heat in my garage so I got a bag that I zip shut. Before I zip it shut I place a few absorbant bags in the car.

Welcome to world of California Special. I've owned mine
going on 8 years and wouldn't part with it for all the
tea in China. I have a 2 car garage in NH............so that means the wife's Volvo and my CS are tucked in while my everyday car sits exposed in the driveway.
..............not too bad a sacrifice I'd say

thats pretty cool , i wish i had one of those in my garage! hopefully the vette doesnt leak !
[/quote]

I was wondering that too! What if the car above leaks fluids on the car below, that would be a minus for having one of these space savers.

I give it 80 points just for the cool value. Wouldn't that be nice when you wanted to take a look down under.

My garage is at 113", I think I have the room, just too many other plans for my spare $$ right now.

One of them is a completed GT/CS ;)

Mine has drip trays that fill the space under the engine, tranny, that you can remove or move if you need but protect anything underneath when in place.

I think it's more simple than that.
The one on the bottom is the one he enjoys driving more often.
Or maybe cases the one that runs. ;D ;D

I would think it would not matter. the overall height of both cars is always gonna be the same no matter which one is on top.

Drip trays are the secret here.. All of these old cars leak at some time or another.. The unit came with 3 plastic drip trays that sit between the ramps. I would recommend five for total protection..

::) I'll bet JC68 drives the mustang more, so the vet has to stay put until he gets a 68HCS. lol :p
