I know we've had posts before about California Assemblyman, Doug La Malfa and his GT/CS ownership as well as his pursuit of preserving the Classic Car hobby.

I came across this picture of him and his GT/CS online from an October 2005 newsletter.

He is obviously not a career politician...

Interesting car; 10 spokes, high back buckets, no stripes and a rear mounted antenna.

If I was in his district he would have my vote.

If anyone is interested I have the rest of that newsletter ... it was too big to post and I didn't see anything else on the CS in it so just posted the 1st page

The website is pretty cool - easy to find different laws being proposed/passed, etc

You can search by state, hobby, etc and they include Canada now
