Drip rail mouldings

I am almost finished with the exterior of my GT/CS. It has been a long process, but well worth the effort. Soon I will post the before and after photos. However, I am having trouble putting the drip rail mouldings back on. I have tried with the old ones and a set of new ones. Any suggestions?

I have heard that you just have to star from the front and work it in with the palm of your hand. Take your time and dont force anything too much.

You can also try lightly sanding a bit of the excess paint off of the top and bottom.
