Saw the thread about argent wheels. Made me wonder - what were typical dealer installed options? Just about anything? For example, my marti report does not list center console or rear window defogger, but the car has both. Casey

Doug, thanks again. I also checked Paul's book, but neither of the lists show center console. I guess it is still possible a dealer could add a center console. Casey

The thing about "dealer options" is that there was an "official" list, and if a new owner asked loud enough, you could get anything!

Including Shelby accessories, and I have a flier to dealers to order some of the GT/CS fiberglas parts for customizing owner's '67 and '68 Mustangs.

"63 Galaxies and T-Birds had tri-power intakes added to those 390''s and 427's.

But more likely...after all these years--you should just assume that a previous owner added that console. From my experience, more likely than not things end up on these cars to "add" more to them--than on a regular '67 or '68 Mustang.

Without documentation, or a receipt from a dealer, it's anyone's guess how these parts get on these cars.

Paul.

Hey there everyone I had a few questions about dealer options as well. Was it possible for a dealer to add a 4v intake to a car without the cobra dress up kit? What about a posi rear end? Any info would help!
