If Ford does indeed offer a 2008 GT/CS do you think the Ford dealers would want to display our cars just outside the showrooms as a customer draw? If so, will any of you let them rent/borrow/show yours?

Arlie;
I have no problem if asked to display my car as long as I'm there with it. I wouldn't let anyone rent it, or let them borrow it. I would think it would be a good draw for local Ford dealers to display them side by side.

Could even have some of your co-workers stand next to it!

On this one I'd opt for the Hooter's girls. I'm sure they wouldn't mind the publicity.

My CS has 400hp sounds great, but doesnt look very good from closer than 20ft, rather than display mine outside the showroom, i'd like to have my car in a Ford mustang commercial. The sound roaring out of my GTCS would definitely bring interest to the new california special.

As a side note:
I was driving next to this 1967 Shelby GT500 yesterday on Ventura Blvd. (Not as loud as my car.)

I'd probably let them show my car for a day if I stayed with it and they had Hooter's girls. ;D

I am on vacation in the Carribean on a cruise ship and heard we were talking about Hootera girls and CS's. ;)

My maroon CS paint job is too delicate to leave in a high traffic area even if roped off. It has no clearcoat and has been highly buffed. I would be willing to leave the 390 CS and I COULD bring my own Hooters girls for this event (I am a regular at my local Hooters).

gotta go get back in the sun, type at you guys later.

Just wait until his wife finds out about him being a regular at Hooters. That'll probably be worth an upgrde from a Mini to a Hummer.

:)I heard they are coming out with Mini Hummers. Since the regular Hummers are so big they are gonna produce smaller ones. I wonder if the army will want to use those? Rhonda
