Does anybody have any knowledge of the XL3 chamber 2 1/2 for a 289 2 bbl Magnaflow and noise level??? Tom WI

The Road Warrior had Magnaflow mufflers. They are much more civilized than Flowmasters, but they are definitely louder than stock and they droned at a certain rpm.

If you want something even more civilized try Walker Quiet Flow mufflers.

X2 on the Walker three chambers. If memory serves me, they are the Dynomax version.

I checked with Walker the Quite flow they said it will not fix the 68 with the 289 Tom WI

The standard muffler for the '68 Mustang is the transverse muffler. Do you think the Walker person might have been confused?
