...hosted by the Roamin' Angels at the Nevada County Fairgrounds here in Northern California. Renee "PonyGal" will once again represent us with her beautiful GT/CS within the 900 -1000 cars in attendance. This will also be my son TJ's first big show since re-painting his own car less than a month ago.

Stand by for pictures at the end of the day!

Looks like fun. 900-1000 cars. That is huge. My club, the Denver Mustang club, has its annual show next week and we typically get 500-600 cars. It is incredibly well run, but still pretty hectic. I could not imagine 900-1000.

Good luck to TJ.

...By all accounts, another great show! (TJ & Renee just stopped by to download their cameras;-) Renee was the only GT/CS receiving day long accolades and TJ had an absolute ball!

Also present was the award winning S-code Mach of our friend, Dale and Rie's beautiful Boss 302 which I test drove in Nevada two years ago. She's still on the fence about selling it, but if you see several of my Specials come up for sale - you'll know where I'm headed ;-)

Thank you for posting the pictures Tim. It was a great day and TJ and I had a lot of fun. TJ got quite a few comments on his car and was more than happy to tell everyone who asked all about it! My Special got quite a bit of attention too! There were those who knew all about them, and those who had no idea what it was. Typical car show crowd.

...Renee, here's that picture Sharon took of you & TJ. You two made a great team! I received a lot of wonderful remarks about your (usual) informative enthusiasm and TJ's great progress! Caring & sharing car types are what it's all about!

Special guests to the event included "twister" Chubby Checker :)
