The ones I installed fit perfectly, and I used a special GTCS emblem above the glove box;

Hi Neil,

Where can I get an emblem like yours, it adds a nice finishing touch.

Thanks,
Pierre

I think Ron (clubpro) can still get the GTCS floor mats.
I have precious few of the dash plaques & steering wheel inserts.

Question:
What's the difference between using an 'X' pipe versus an 'H' pipe? (I use 'H' pipes)

American Muscle said:
H-Pipe: An H-pipe is better at balancing sound and produces a more consistent, classic muscle car growl. It does less than an X-pipe in the way of balancing exhaust gasses but still flows quite well. H-pipes maintain the back-pressure necessary for torque gains earlier in the rpm band, as opposed to the top-end power seen from an X-pipe.

I think the H-pipe sounds much better than an X-pipe. IMHO an X-pipe tends to create a note that is hollow and tinny.

Neil don't hold me to this.. but i think one makes power at the high end and the other makes power at the low end...i run x pipes on 2 of my mustangs my 1992 GT and my 2008 GT....on my 1992 GT i had an h pipe and switched to the x pipe and it changed the whole sound of the car...same thing happen with the 2008 GT..but it really woke the 2008 GT up but i also have a custom tune.....so i,m hooked on this x pipe thing.....i think my 68 CS is going to sound nice with the x pipe and the 2.5 piping:smile:
