1968 Stripe color

Does anybody know what stripe colors were avail for 1968 CS?

I was thinking green with a gold stripe would be nice. I'm a CalPoly grad...

I know!!!!!! black, red, white, blue were the only colors installed on our Cal SP and HCS Mustangs. AND you're right, gold is nice on highland green. ON MY HIGHLAND GREEN HCS, I went with the GOLD stripes #93, I believe, which was to be placed on the '68 GT Mustangs. I did this because of having the gold nugget interior and thought the gold stripes would be much more attractive with this interior color rather than the white stripes that Ford installed on my car. Go for it!!!!!!!!!! Bob here.

What color is your car and interior?

Bob is right, the gold stripes look good on Highland Green. I have gold stripes on my black 68 CJ convertible. They look good on black too.

Hmmm,
With a white vinyl top gold stripes may be an acquired taste.
