I am going to get my front windshied reset because of leaks. I want to clean and polish the trim while the windshield is out. I need some advise on the best method to polish the trim. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bill

If you are good at using a fixed rotary buffer, that would be my suggestion. Otherwise, you could take them to a buffing shop. That's the best way to get a good shine. A lessor method would be to use a very fine steel wool pad. Any other thoughts from the experts out there?

After the 0000 steel wool you can also use metal polish if you wish. Try to stay away from chrome polish since it can be a little too abrasive. After the metal polish I usually use plexiglass cleaner, but any similar product used for polishing plastics will work.
