Squeak (my son) and I snuck out this morning and went to the local Air Show in Rexburg, Idaho this morning. It was clouded in and they didn't know if it would get going or not but the ceiling finally lifted and away it went and it was a great air show. Greg Poe was back this year flying his stunt plane and he is simply amazing. The guy with the Jelly Belly plane did his stunts including landing on a pickup truck going down the runway and a dead stick from 2000 feet to landing. But the most impressive thing about the small town Rexburg air show is all the war birds they have. There are 3 P-51 Mustangs, a couple of Sky Raiders, one of 3 still flying P-63 King Cobra's, and several other war birds all from Rexburg and there were several more that flew in for the air show. It is quite a sight to see, we enjoyed the show.
And for those that remember my posting that John Bagley had crashed one of his P-51's 2 years ago, it was rebuilt over the past 2 years and certified for flight two weeks ago, photo included it's the all silver with no markings P-51, they aren't done painting it yet.
Cory and Squeak.
