1968 Hood Bumpers?

I noticed that there are no front hood bumpers on my Car. In looking at pictures on the Net, it appears that there were adjustable bumpers on regular hoods. They were installed on the front brackets that our hood lock retains slip onto.

There is a hole on each front corner of the hood. Do bumpers go here? Looks like they would contact the top of the headlight door bracket under the hood.

I think that maybe with the hood locks, no bumpers were used. Correct?

Thanks

Dave

The GTCS and HCS hood bumpers were relocated in to the first fender bolt hole.
